Evan Bourne vs. Carlito.
- Carlito knocks Bourne down with a dropkick and follows it up with an elbow to the sternum of Bourne. Bourne bounces off the ropes takes Carlito down hurricanranra style. He tries for a crossbody on the outside but Carlito moves. Carlito tries for clothesline, Bourne ducks and strikes Carlito hard with a high knee. He rolls Carlito back in and prepares for the “AirBourne” but Carlito rolls out of the ring as we head to commercial. We’re back and Carlito knocks Bourne down hard with a big boot to the face. Carlito hits a sick looking twisting neckbreaker and follows it up with a springboard back elbow. Bourne is on the apron and Carlito looks to bring him back in via a suplex. While elevated, Bourne strikes Carlito with a knee and delivers a left high kick to the head of Carlito. He ascends the top rope but Carlito stops him there and prepares for a superplex. Bourne lands punches to the stomach and back of Carlito and hits a sunset flip powerbomb on Carlito. Finally for the third attempt, Bourne hits the “AirBourne” for the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Evan Bourne.

The good news? WWE.COM has once again made Evan the Superstar Of The Day. The bad news is that we have unfortunately seen this photo before. Be sure to check it out in the gallery anyways. It’s still a very nice photo.

The Most Underappreciated Wrestler In The WWE.
- Brian Woods.

Well the WWE did it again as they disrespected Evan Bourne in the Rumble as he was eliminated first. Ever since Bourne has been in the WWE he has been nothing but disrespected so this doesn’t come as a surprise to me. In my opinion I think that Bourne is the one of the most talented wrestlers in the WWE, don’t get me wrong I know he has some work to do with his mic skills but, he is worth at least the ECW, IC, or U.S. Championship.

Speaking of ECW it was obvious that he wasn’t ready to leave yet, he needed more time to hone his mic skills. While at ECW he only had one chance at the ECW championship and him and Matt Hardy had a great match; But that was his only chance.

Then as he was on the up rise in ECW actually getting a little bit of push at the time he breaks his ankle due to the incompetence of Bam Neely, which ultimately made Bourne miss up to 3 months which included the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. I would have loved to see what he could do with money in the bank; but that is not what happened as he sat on the sidelines and watched as it happened.

When he came back on march 17 2008, I thought he would be right back in the fold but I was sadly mistaken as he was unfortunatly drafted to RAW and was lost in the shuffle and saw guys like the Miz, Sheamus, and Drew Mcintyre pass him by.

As you can probably tell I might be a little bias, I mean there is others that deserve more acknowledgment ( Shelton Benjamin, Dolph Zigglar, etc.) and maybe I’m completley wrong. But all I can say is that when the next draft comes I see him getting drafted back to ECW where he can be appreciated.

Sorry if the article wasnt that great it was my first and probably only time, I just needed to get this off my chest.

Here are the spoilers for this Thursdays episode of WWE Superstars. Highlight below to find out the results…

Evan Bourne defeated Carlito. Decent back and forth match. Too many rest holds, but several back and forth near falls brought it back. Carlito hit a nice spinebuster. Evan won with the Shooting Star Press.

2010 Royal Rumble Match.
- Dolph Ziggler draws number one. Out he comes. Evan Bourne (supporting new kick pads) is number two. Bourne and Ziggler will start off the 2010 Royal Rumble. Ziggler almost gets Bourne out, but ultimately no dice. Bourne nearly huracanrana’s Ziggler out. Also zero dice. Ziggler hits the Zig-Zag. He scoops Bourne up and tosses him over the top. Bourne hangs on to the apron outside the ropes. He kicks Ziggler down and climbs up. He hits the Air Borne as the clock counts down. Number three is CM Punk. Out comes CM Punk with Serena. CM Punk eliminates both Bourne and Ziggler (in that order).
